How Manual Calculation Works
The traditional method is like long subtraction. You place the target date on top and the birth date below, then subtract days, months, and years from right to left. When the birth day is larger than the target day, you borrow 30 days from the months column. When the birth month is larger, you borrow 12 months from the years column.
